Heather Linington Family Memorial Scholarship 2010

This scholarship is being presented in memory of Heather Linington, to honour and commemorate her enthusiasm for Brant 4-H and her passion for education and community spirit.

This scholarship may be applied for by any Brant County 4-H member (must be a member in good standing, whose home county is Brant). The applicant must be currently enrolled in any year of any post-secondary program, including university, college, trade school or apprenticeship.    Applicant must be able to provide proof of enrolment in this program (such as; letter of acceptance, letter of confirmation of enrolment, transcript, report card, etc.  Photocopies are acceptable.)   All applications are due November 30, 2010 to the Brant 4-H Association Chairperson.   You may use extra paper if required to provide your answers. 

Brant 4-H Leaders and Volunteers may bring this application to the attention of Brant 4-H members who may be interested in applying.   An interview process may follow at the discretion of the Awards Selection Committee.

This scholarship will be presented to the successful applicant in the amount of $300, to be awarded at the Brant 4-H 2010 Awards Banquet to be held in Paris on Friday January 28, 2011.  This scholarship of $300 will be available for the 4-H award years, 2010-2014 inclusive.

·         Completed application form

·         Current resume

·         Two letters of recommendation.  Only one may be from a 4-H leader or volunteer; the other may be from an adult from school or educational facility, community organization, job, etc.  (letters from family members are not accepted)

·         Proof of enrolment in post secondary program.
